About Me
I
am a product and marketing professional with over 15 years of
experience helping world class brands succeed in international
markets.
My expertise includes developing and commercializing
branded products from concept to launch,
and to direct international marketing efforts in alignment with brand
strategy.
I am also fascinated by the Internet and social media, and their
potential as a cost-effective platform to spread ideas and build
powerful personal and small business brands.
My experience includes 12 years with The Stanley
Works, a Fortune 500 company in the consumer products category, in
different international product management and marketing positions.
Also, three years as area sales manager for L'Oreal, where I was in
charge of sales of the Lancôme brand in Mexico and the Caribbean.
I am a graduate of the University of Miami (MBA in
Marketing and International Business, '92) and of the Pontificia
Universidad Católica del Perú (BSc Industrial Engineering, '86).
